Poland’s premier golf resort is ending a memorable season on a high by launching a new interactive website and confirming that it has been shortlisted in the inaugural World Golf Travel awards. Modry Las Golf Club celebrated its fifth anniversary in 2014 by doubling its on-site accommodation and creating a spectacular nine-hole course. Its new website and prestigious nomination tops off a dynamic year for the resort.

“It has been an extremely busy year,” admitted Pamela Gromadzki, the resort’s International Marketing Director. “Receiving the nomination for the World Golf Awards was a wonderful way to recognise the hard work and dedication shown by all the team at Modry Las. But the icing on the cake has been our new website which showcases all that is on offer at Modry Las.”

“The objective was to create an immersive website that would guide visitors through the Modry Las experience, from the Gary Player-designed championship course and the Peter Bronson Golf Academy facilities to the new Garden Suites and Cottages. We also wish to convey the warm Polish welcome from our staff that accompanies each visit. Most importantly, the website features the very special landscape that frames Modry Las and the beautiful West Pomerania region that surrounds it.”

The team at Modry Las Golf Club will also be attending the world’s leading golf travel exhibition which takes place this year at Lake Como where 600 golf tourism suppliers and 350 pre-qualified buyers will meet and do business. This is the third time Poland’s top golf resort has attended the International Golf Travel Market and the first time the event has been staged in Italy.

“IGTM is recognised as the place where the golf travel business comes together,” noted Gromadzki. “As one of central Europe’s new breed of golf resorts, it is the ideal place to meet up with old friends and make new acquaintances. Modry Las is a long-term project which is still in its early stages. We are continuing to refine and improve our resort and our new website is very much part of that process. Attending events like IGTM is another.”

Modry Las Golf Club was nominated as Poland’s Best Golf Course in the first ever World Golf Awards competition that was launched to celebrate excellence in golf tourism. With votes arriving from leading golf tourism professionals and thousands of consumers from around the world, the winners will be announced next month.

If successful, Modry Las will add another trophy to its growing collection of international accolades. Earlier this year, Modry Las was included in Germany’s leading golf magazine’s first ever Top 100 European Golf Courses list as the only Polish entry.

“Modry Las has been fortunate to collect awards ever since it opened five years ago,” said Gromadzki. “While this is gratifying and provides us with timely encouragement, it is not something that we take for granted. It is our endeavour to develop a state of the art resort that will continue to attract international recognition as we flourish and grow.”
