From July 28th to 30th, our course hosted the 4th POLISH MASTER SENIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS, with 21 teams representing their clubs participating. The three-day, fierce competition determined the medalists. The gold medal went to the Mazury Golf & Country Club team, composed of Michał Poniż, Janusz Sikora, and Sławomir Hruboń; the silver medal went to the Tokary Golf Club team, composed of Henryk Konopka, Małgorzata Brodowska, and Jan Łabas; and the bronze medal went to our neighbors from the Gorzów Golf Club, composed of Andrzej Szmit and Marek Konieczny. It’s also worth noting that Andrzej Szmit recorded the lowest gross score after three days of competition: 244, +28 (86, 83, and 75!!!). Another of our neighbors, Paweł Gwarda (Binowo Park GC), boasted a Hole in One – a lucky and precise putt was made on hole 5 from 149 meters – congratulations!
Our club fielded two teams. We are incredibly proud of our “boys,” who fought fiercely until the end. Team A (Zdzisław Kliński, Bogusław Bil, and Andrzej Follendorf) took first place in the team Stableford net, Bogusław Bill took second place in the individual stroke play net (-5), and Zdzisław Kliński took third place (-2). Modry Las B was represented by Henryk Sadocha, Waldemar Pawlak, and Mirosław Lopatto. Bravo to us!
